We are dedicated to being a voice for the voiceless, creating safe spaces for healing, and empowering individuals to embrace their truths without fear or shame.

Founded by Shari Black, who bravely overcame her journey through misdiagnosis, stigma, and lack of support, Mentally Gifted strives to break the cycle of neglect and mistreatment within mental health care systems. We aim to provide a government-funded facility that treats every individual with dignity, understanding, and humanity—offering not just treatment, but genuine care from professionals who understand firsthand the struggles of mental illness.

Our vision is to foster a society where mental strength is celebrated, where silence is replaced by conversation, and where every individual has access to the tools and support needed to navigate their mental health journey. Through advocacy, education, and community-driven support, we aspire to reduce the prevalence of suicide, homelessness, and untreated mental illness, ensuring that no one has to feel invisible or unsupported ever again.
